Permissions and Stats Meme
Age: 15-16 roughly 18 now
Height: 168cm
Weight: unknown, but he's a friggin' twig
Medical Info: Albino. Because of his powers Accelerator naturally redirects UV rays away from him, resulting in a lack of melanin and a hormonal imbalance due to such low levels of UV radiation. (And apparently a pronounced genderless figure, made most obvious by his thin, girlish waist.) This is thanks to his AIM dispersion field. See the Abilities section for more info. [Artificial angel that possessesblack white seraphic wings when in an awakened state (this is difficult to trigger, don't expect to see it). His powers have divine properties, so he does ping for an angel.] Also has suffered minor brain damage due to canon update; thanks to Faust's special treatment for brain tissue regrowth, in camp he retains his powers to a moderate capacity. He's currently hooked up via electrode to the MISAKA Network, and as of 5/18/2011 requires a cane in order to walk when not in ESPer Mode.

Physical traits: Boy is rail-thin with a girly figure and needs a sammich. Has pale, pale skin. He's not very physically strong, but compensates for this with his awesome vector powers. He usually wears the same outfits all the time, and currently wears a black choker around his throat with wires connected to it; this connects him to the MISAKA Network. I go into more depth in his Appearance Meme, if that should interest you! Currently always seen using a cane. Usually armed with a 9mm handgun that usually stays in a holster at his left hip.
What's Okay To Mention Around Him/Her: Anything!
Abilities: Accelerator is/was the strongest of the Level Five espers in Academy City, of which there are only seven. His ability is that of vector transformation, i.e. he can control the vector values (magnitude and direction) of anything he touches. This means stuff like heat, motion, electricity, momentum, force, and so on.
He involuntarily produces an invisible energy field around his entire body called an AIM dispersion field, which you can think of as unconscious interference with the reality of others. The primary manifestation of his AIM field is an ability called 'Deflection' or 'Redirection.' This is subconscious, and formerly it was automatic and active at all times; now it is only active when his network terminal is in ESPer Mode. The battery power will last for up to three hours on ESPer Mode (full use of his powers and calculation ability), or 24 days on Normal Mode (UV ray deflection, plus motor/language/speech capability assistance). The way Redirection works is by using a vector filter that filters out the harmful vectors and allows in only the harmless vectors. Incoming vectors such as energy and matter will be redirected away from him unless a) the current version of the filter settings allows it (e.g. gravity, sound, oxygen, etc.), or b) he consciously wills it.
Some common uses of his ability include deflecting anti-tank sniper bullets, jumping and moving at superhuman height and speed (at least 750kmph), controlling blood flow, manipulating wind to create plasma or wind storms, causing shockwaves, nullifying gravity, causing dust explosions, lifting train cars and automobiles into the air, stopping a moving car and selectively shattering it, shattering anti-tank rifles, redirecting force so he won't hurt his knuckles and the guy he's pounding gets twice the pain, blocking sound waves, manipulating bioelectricity in order to remove a computer-like virus from a human clone and return her to pre-infection state, flying through the air using tornadoes on his back, and walking through lava completely unaffected. This list is composed of canon examples. It is not exhaustive.

Accelerator has also shown the ability to use magic to a very limited capacity, overcoming the barrier of magic's toxicity to espers by controlling the mana flow in his body so that he merely produces an unnatural sweat rather than the usual tearing up of veins and organs that tends to happen due to circuit mismatch. TL;DR He can use magic if he's very very careful about it and get off easily.
Awakened State: (highlight the white text) When in an awakened state Accelerator gains white seraphic wings and a halo as seen here. In this state he can manipulate real vectors, imaginary vectors, and vectors he is not directly touching, and all without the use of the Misaka Network. He can update the laws of reality and speak the language of the Angels. He is powerful enough to go up against the Archangel Gabriel and win in his canon. It is very unlikely this will ever come up in gameplay due to the difficulty in triggering this state; however I am noting it just in case.
Notes for the Psychics: ESPer Mode prevents others from using psychic abilities to read his mind/probe memories/control him. It is the ultimate mental barrier. Normal Mode is his default, however. During Normal Mode you can pick up some surface thoughts and hold telepathic conversation with him. Please ask if unsure or you need input. I merely ask that you keep in mind that even in Normal Mode he is still very mentally strong and should be able to block all but the most powerful mental invasions.
Notes for Magic Users: Certain types of magic attacks do not work on ESPer Mode Accelerator, generally ones that rely on the use of vectors for their effectiveness. They dissipate upon coming in contact with his AIM field. Magical artifacts and extensive usage of magic (like someone wearing a disguise maintained by magic 24/7) may make Accelerator feel mildly queasy or pressured when near them. Ping me if you're unsure about something.
Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: Yessssssss. I welcome it.
Kissing/Hugging/Nonviolent Contact: Yes. I welcome this too. Though let me warn you, when in ESPer Mode Accelerator can forcibly prevent someone someone from touching him, often with painful results.
Fighting: Fighting is awesome. ESPer Mode Accelerator can be kind of a rule-breaking godmode, but he relies on his powers too much and is not invincible. Just be forewarned that unless you have an ability that nullifies psychic abilities like Touma's Imagine Breaker, or use an ability that doesn't involve vectors (like some types of magic), landing a hit on Accelerator when he's in ESPer Mode is likely to be very difficult.
Maim/Murder/Death: It will be difficult to get that far with him, but I am okay as long as it makes sense!
