tell me about Accelerator's Necoco feels

Sob.

Necoco is his best friend; that's never going to change. Accelerator trusts him more than anyone else, which is a big accomplishment since he's so slow to trust in the first place. But Necoco does have a lot of moments of stupidity and obliviousness that make him want to simultaneously smack him upside the head and have someone take a look at Necoco's wiring, or something. A small part of Accelerator is resentful over all the stupid feelings Necoco has made him have, resentful because he prefers to be in control of himself and his emotions and to distance himself from those emotions when they start fucking with him. He's continually wanted to make it all go away, and uh, we both know how well that went. Big fat fail. As for how things have gone since the red thread event, there were these long gaps of having no closure for anything, and he hates that it took forever to get any of that closure. This is partly his fault because each time, he kept avoiding Necoco which is sort of counterproductive to gaining closure, but part of him wanted to see Necoco be the one to come to him about resolving things. December mistletoe was one big "fuck this, there's no other way to get it through his thick skull analogue." The January run-in after he returned from vacation gave him most of the closure he wanted, but then Necoco had to go on saying he wanted to keep touching him which sparked the entire issue with Accelerator asking about kissing being allowed. Despite giving Necoco the choice of whether or not to ask about it, Accelerator still feels kind of shitty about requesting that, like maybe he failed at being a friend. As for more recently, he's really glad that Necoco was there to comfort him. He wasn't expecting Necoco to kiss him as part of that, but since he did it without prompt and it lasted a while, he made certain to revel in it. It was the first time they'd both kissed while under complete control of themselves. At this point Accelerator has pretty much thrown out all ideas of actually wanting some sort of romantic relationship with anyone into the trash can and deemed it a waste of time, energy, and just in general something not very healthy for him maintaining his sanity. Canonically he's always been more interested in having a family than a lover. That said, if at some point Necoco were to finally man up and get permission for kissing, he wouldn't complain. Accelerator does have hormones, and it's not like he's stopped finding Necoco attractive. He's just not expecting it to ever happen.
